What to Expect

Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you've never worked with a therapist before or if previous experiences have left you hesitant to try again. My goal is to make the process feel approachable, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs.

The First Session

We'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll ask questions about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no expectation that you'll share every detail of your story during the first appointment.

We Move at Your Pace

Healing cannot be rushed. Before processing trauma, we'll focus on creating safety, building trust, and developing skills to help you feel grounded and supported throughout the process.

Therapy Is Collaborative

There is no "right" way to do therapy. Some days we'll focus on practical coping strategies, while other sessions may involve exploring deeper patterns or processing difficult experiences. Together, we'll tailor treatment to meet your goals.

Evidence-Based Care

I integrate trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches that address both the emotional and physiological effects of trauma, helping clients build resilience and experience meaningful, lasting healing.

My Approach

I approach therapy as a collaborative partnership grounded in warmth, honesty, and respect. I strive to create a space where women feel supported, informed, and empowered to better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and reconnect with their own voice and strengths. My style is compassionate and direct, balancing emotional support with practical insight and curiosity as we work together toward meaningful, sustainable change.
